Organizational Update: A new partnership for mineral exploration

Maven Exploration Inc. (“Maven”) and NV Resources (“NV Resources”), are excited to announce that they have entered into a partnership agreement to cooperate on mineral exploration with the goal to identify quality copper and precious metal targets in key Canadian provinces. As part of this partnership, NV Resources will perform the technical review and project generation activities with the aim of identifying potential new mineral targets for follow-up. Maven will evaluate, acquire, and advance upon further due diligence and confidence.

Why This Partnership

NV Resources was built to identify and provide the mineral exploration sector a pipeline of quality projects at the front end of discovery. Their team of geological scientists’ reviews more than 100 projects annually. Fewer than 10% meet their criteria. The ones that do represent land positions with genuine potential.

Maven was built to show what can happen when mining is accessible to everyone. In order to do this, Maven is committed to transparency about risk, clarity on process and showing long-term value starting with mineral exploration.

Finding the right partner has been an ongoing priority to Maven’s founding team since the inception of the organization. This agreement between NV Resources and Maven Exploration fulfills Maven’s technical requirements, while also partnering with a company with aligned values.

What Comes Next

Under the framework, NV Resources may submit projects meeting pre-agreed criteria. Maven will conduct independent due diligence, which will include independent geological review and the current social license to operate status. For accepted projects, Maven will be responsible for acquisition, compliance, and advancement. Both companies will share ownership and outcomes.

Understanding Two Key Terms in This Release

Exploration can happen on land with no existing infrastructure (called greenfield exploration), in areas where mining has occurred before, or near an operating mine site (called brownfield exploration). This work is a critical step in finding many of the raw materials we use in everyday life, including gold, copper, and silver. Often, the exploration and project development stage occurs over many years and not every project becomes a mine. This is a normal event in the mineral exploration sub-sector of mining. The value of good exploration is in what you learn.

Social licence to operate is the trust and acceptance a mining project earns from the people who live and work nearby. It is a relationship, built through honest communication, respectful behaviour, and genuine benefit to the community. There are no permits or legal requirements, though those may be part of the process to verify and provide transparency to the relationship.

This trust is not granted once and held forever. It must be earned continuously through how a company shows up, listens, and follows through on its commitments. When that trust exists, projects run more smoothly. When it breaks down, projects stall or fail, regardless of what permits are in place.
